L.N.E.R. 4771 (B.R.60800) 'Green Arrow' the pioneer of the class stands at Peterborough North Station in 1938. The V2 class introduced in 1936 once numbered 184 locomotives, 164 of these were built at Darlington the remainder at Doncaster.
