IMAGES FROM THE 1960's

In the early 1960's I attended a Senior School that had an active Railway Society and a Photography Club, I never became a good photographer! - but the Railway Society did organize many 'bus' trips for legal and sometimes illegal visits to MPDs. As they say '..the rest is now history' as depicted in these images.

The photographs of the Western Region locomotives are of a poorer quality as unfortunately I have only a few of these I photographed myself, so I have had less to choose from, but I am slowly replacing or adding to these by images from other sources.
