No. 60864 of New England shed on an 'up' freight approaching Peterborough in the
winter of 1963 at Sages Lane, the hut to the left of the locomotive is a shelter for the Postman when making a TPO pick-up or
drop.

K4 2-6-0 No. 3442 (B.R. No.61994) Leeds Neville Hill c.1965 Built in July 1938,
this locomotive was finally withdrawn from British Railways stock in December 1961 when it was purchased by Viscount Garnock
for use on a number of rail tours until the 1968 ban on steam locomotives on the National Network brought this activity to a
temporary end.
K4 2-6-0 No. 3442 (B.R. No.61994) Darlington 03/10/1964
Class D3 4-4-0 No. 2000 formerly No. 4076 built in 1897, retained for use with
the 'Directors Saloon' photographed at Grantham c.1947/8. This was the last locomotive of this class in service finally being
withdrawn in October 1951
