Ex. G.W.R. '56xx' 0-6-2T No. 6619 at Grosmont (North Yorkshire Moors Railway) October 2006 - Built at Swindon in January 1928. After withdrawal from British Railways in March 1963, this locomotive spent almost 11 years at Barry scrap yard.




GWR '56XX' Class 0-6-2T No. 6695 at Bridgnorth on the 22nd of May 2010. Normally resident at the Swanage Railway, this locomotive was on loan to the S.V.R. in return for undertaking some boiler work.




GWR '64XX' Class 0-6-2T No. 6697 at Didcot on the 13th of August 2015




4-6-0 'Modified Hall' Class No. 6960 'Raveningham Hall' at Bishops Lydeard on 5th of October 2013.




4-6-0 'Modified Hall' Class No. 6990 'Witherslack Hall' under going restoration at Loughborough in October 2006




4-6-0 'Modified Hall' Class No. 6998 'Burton Agnes Hall' at Didcot Rail Centre on the 13th of August 2015.




'Castle' Class No.7029 'Clun Castle' 4-6-0 on display at the N.R.M. York during the '1968 and all that' event 31/05/2008 - Built at Swindon in May 1950. Withdrawn from British Railways in December 1965.




G.W.R. 2-8-2T No. 7202 at Didcot on the 13th of August 2015




'57XX' Class 0-6-0PT No.7714 at Kidderminster on the 25th of September 2005.




Ex B.R. '57XX' Class 0-6-0PT No.7715 at Sheringham on the 3rd of September 2011. This locomotive was sold to London Transport in June 1963 becoming No. L99 where it worked on engineering trains before being preserved in 1970




'57XX' Class 0-6-0PT No.7754. Built by the North British Loco. Co. in 1930 for the G.W.R. Withdrawn by B.R. in 1959 and later sold to the N.C.B. Now preserved on the Llangollen Railway where it is seen at Glyndyfrdwy in October 1998




G.W.R. 'Manor' Class 4-6-0 No.7802 'Bradley Manor' at Bewdley in September 2006. Built at Swindon in 1938. Withdrawn from BR in November 1965, this locomotive spent 13 years at Barry scrap yard before moving to the S.V.R.




G.W.R. 4-6-0 No.7808 'Cookham Manor' at Didcot on the 13th of August 2015.




'Manor' Class 4-6-0 No. 7812 'Earlstoke Manor' at Bridgnorth in September 2009




Built at Swindon in February 1939, 'Manor' Class 4-6-0 No.7819 'Hinton Manor' is seen here at Bridgnorth during August 1992.




B.R. built 'Manor' Class 4-6-0 No.7820 'Dinmore Manor' is approaching Minehead in July 2002




B.R. built 'Manor' Class 4-6-0 No.7821 'Ditcheat Manor' departs from Quorn G.C.R. in July 2005 This locomotive has since left the G.C.R.




B.R. built 'Manor' Class 4-6-0 No.7822 'Manor' Class 4-6-0 'Foxcote Manor' at Cranmore... on the East Somerset Railway in August 1993




G.W.R. 'Manor' Class 4-6-0 No.7827 'Lydham Manor' approaching Kingswear Station in June 1977 or 1978. One of a batch of 10 built at Swindon in December 1950 by B.R. to a G.W.R. design being withdrawn from B.R. in October 1965.




B.R. built 'Manor' Class 4-6-0 No.7828 'Odney Manor' stands outside the workshop at Minehead on the 21st of September 2014.




4-6-0 'Modified Hall' class No. 7903 'Foremarke Hall' comes off the turntable at Kidderminster S.V.R. in 2005




4-4-0 Earl / Dukedog No. 9017 (GWR No. 3217) "Earl of Berkeley" at Sheffield Park in July 2007. This locomotive was built at Swindon in March 1938 from parts of Nos. 3282 and 3425




No. 9351 Rebuilt from 2-6-2T No.5193 by the West Somerset Railway to resemble a G.W.R. 43xx Class approaches Highley Station in September 2005

No. 9681 - a 0-6-0PT of the '5700' class. Built at Swindon in May 1949. Withdrawn from B. R. in July 1965. Photographed at Norchard on the 14th of September 2011
