2006 - Built at Swindon in July 1949. 1501 has survived because it was sold to the N.C.B. after withdrawal from British
Railways in January 1961.

'1600' Class 0-6-0PT No.1638 at Sheringham NNR in 2003 - Built by B.R. to a G.W.R.
design developed from the '2021' class dating back to 1897. 1638 is now the only survivor of a one time total of 70
locomotives of this class.
Preserved G.W.R. '28XX' Class 2-8-0 No. 2818 on display at Shildon on the 13th of
July 2013. This Locomotive was built at Swindon in December 1905 and withdrawn from service in October 1963.

token to the signalman at Hampton Loade SVR on 28/07/2011 during its first week back in traffic after an overhaul started in
1995.

now based on the W.S.R. and hopefully will soon be restored once funds are available.
'5101' Class 2-6-2T No.4141 shunts at Quorn on the G.C.R. in 2004 - Built at
Swindon in 1946 and withdrawn after a short working life in 1963 spending the next 10 years a Barry before being purchased
for preservation initially on the S.V.R.
G.W.R. class '5101' 2-6-2T, No.4144 with the first train of the day from Wansford to Peterborough along the Nene Valley Railway passes the site of Castor Station, on the 11th of August 2021.
Hiding under covers at Bewdley in March 2017 is 2-6-2T No.4150 now hopefully much
closer to the completion of its return to steam than the beginning, restoration of which first started more than 40 years previously.
