5MT 4-6-0 No. 73085 at Eastleigh. This locomotive was named 'Melisande' which it had inherited from withdrawn 'N15' No. 30753, the name plates had been removed by the time this photograph was taken in 1966.

4MT 2-6-0 No. 76114 the last steam locomotive built at Doncaster outside E2 Erecting Shop in October 1957. Foreman George Hewitson and Chargeman Robert (Bob) Burns are at the front buffer beam, Peter Fryer is second from the front near chimney. The photograph, sent to me by Tony Roberts, has been taken for or by the Sheffield Telegraph. The locomotive was scrapped less than 10 years later. .
