scene from the 1960's, unfortunately there was no cries of 'Streak' from the assembled crowd on the bridge (now mostly of
advancing years!) but still a magnificent sight and sound.

This locomotive was transfered to the L.N.E.R. taking the number 8067 (B.R. 68067) and class J94 before being sold to the N.C.B. in 1963.
