A4 4-6-2 No. 60007 'Sir Nigel Gresley' Stands at Retford on 31/05/2008 - Built at
Doncaster in November 1937,No. 60007 was saved from the scrap man by the A4 Locomotive Society Limited after withdrawal in
February 1966 from Aberdeen Ferryhill MPD
Repatriated for the National Railway Museum's 'Great Gathering' at York, A4 4-6-2 No.60008 'D.Wright D.Eisenhower' on the 8th of July 2013.
A4 4-6-2 No. 60009 'Union of South Africa' passes Marholm in the fog, with a
Newcastle - Kings Cross Charter on the 24th of November 2012
Repatriated for the National Railway Museum's 'Great Gathering' at York, A4 4-6-2 No.60010 'Dominion of Canada' on the 8th of July 2013.
A4 4-6-2 No. 60019 'Bittern' Heads north along the ECML at Marholm in 2010 - Recreating a
scene from the 1960's, unfortunately there was no cries of 'Streak' from the assembled crowd on the bridge (now mostly of
advancing years!) but still a magnificent sight and sound.
L.N.E.R. A3 4-6-2 No. 4472 'Flying Scotsman' (G.N.R. No.1472, B.R. No.60103) at

A3 4-6-2 No.502 'Flying Scotsman' into its 7th year of a 'Fast' track overhaul
gathering dust at York.. Positive progress so far - Painted Black and renumbered! at a cost of millions that IMHO could have
been better spent on other locomotives.

Wansford with a westbound freight in September 2007 Built at Doncaster in July 1936 and withdrawn from British Railways
service in August 1962 from Kings Cross MPD

B12 4-6-0 No. 61572 and a brake van approaching Weybourne on the North Norfolk
Railway in April 2003
K4 2-6-0 No. 61994 'The Great Marquess' at Grosmont in September 2007. Built in
July 1938, in 1961 it was purchased by Viscount Garnock for use on rail tours until the 1968 ban brought this activity to a
temporary end.

K1 2-6-0 No.62005 masquerading as 62052 under the coaling plant at Grosmont on the 6th of May 2016.

L.N.E.R. Class D49 4-4-0 No. 249 (B.R. No.62712) 'Morayshire' Built at Darlington

Q7 0-8-0 No. 63460 (901 NER Class T3) at Grosmont in October 1996
Class J21 No. 65033 built by the N.E.R. at Gateshead Works in March 1889. This
locomotive was first withdrawn in 1939 but reinstated due to WW2. Now preserved and was photographed at Beamish open air
Museum during 1998
J36 2-6-0 No.65243 'Maude' at the National Railway Museum York on the 8th of July 2013.
J15 0-6-0 65462 on the North Norfolk Railway at Weybourne on the 3rd of October
2003. From a G.E.R. design (Y14 class) dating back to 1883, this particular locomotive was built at Stratford in 1912 as No.
564, being renumbered by the L.N.E.R. to 7564
J27 0-6-0 No.2392 (65894) at N.R.M. Shildon 2005
J52 0-6-0ST No.68846 at N.R.M. Shildon 2005
J72 0-6-0T No. 69023 formerly 'Joem' but now unnamed departs from Quorn on 10/10/2010.
N2 0-6-2T No. 1744 (B.R. No. 69523) awaits its first duty of the day at Bewdley
in September 2009 - looking far cleaner than when I saw it at New England in the 1960's
N7 0-6-0T No.69621 at Sheringham on the North Norfolk Railway 2005 Built at
Stratford in 1924, originally numbered (7)999 as the last locomotive ordered by the G.E.R.
